Tata in gloabl MAP
by Keshava on Feb 08, 2007 03:36 PM

The USA slowly switching new generation fighter which are not detectable by Radar, since F-16 fighter are built with 1970's technology, It may not suit todays scenario. More over as i understand Lockheed is in verge bankrupt, they are pushing very hard for this fighter for survival. So they are taking help from Tata.
One problem with these fighter especially bought from USA will spare parts (maintaince). Until you have good relation with USA, india does not have any problem in maintaining aircraft's, else it will be very difficult maintain, as Pakistan (many other countries) is facing problem with F-16 fighter or other fighter aircrafts.
