I am sorry to say that Captain gopinath had created a pretty bad airlines.Cancellation of crafts with passengers stranded and no refunds was a day to day bussiness for them.I remember to see (used to feel pitty as well) on a manager in mumbai who used to be at the wrath of the passengers every time the flight used to be cancelled .I believe he must be under some finiancial problems otherwise who will wish to do a job like that in a trash airline.I have also seen a program of deccan airlines on discovery where they showed Captain conducting his day to day affairs and I am very sorry to say that he did not listen to any suggestions.He used to interrupt his staff memebers time and again without paying any heed to their say.It is very easy to do a bussiness but difficult to do a profitable bussiness.
