Our association with the TATAS started around 1907 when jAMSHETJI STARTED THE STEEL PROJECT. mY MATERNAL GRANDFATHER it is believed then bacame his selling agent in this part of India.Birla and Tata were always the inspiration for a long list of Indian businessmen because they led the others by example.Later on JRD started Tata Airlines and one of my close relative was personnel officer at one of his branches. Tata Group has always taken part in activities of nation building and their contribution is not limited to Industry alone. I wish a very happy and healthy life for Mr Ratan TAta and I do hope that his group will definetely succeed in their work.There is no doubt that in CSR, TAta Group is ahead of meny Industrial houses around the world.They do present our values to the outside world.
