I am saying this with experience and not hear say. These new Yellow / White / Green A/c Taxis introduced in Mumbai are just too good. The taxis are neat and clean & the drivers are courteous. I stay at Ghatkopar & a normal Black/Yellow Taxi drivers ask for a fixed charge of 150 Rs. for International Airport & all these years I didnt have option but to pay. But with these new Taxis, I just make a booking in advance, the taxi comes to my doorstep 15 minutes in advance & I travel to the Airport in a new Air Conditioned Taxi & they charge me as per meter which comes to 93-95 Rs. I wish they get rid of the RICKETY OLD Taxis from the Airport and replace these with better taxis (as it is they charge quite high for the Airport Taxis)
