Managerial Skill by books
by ravi singhal on Jan 02, 2008 10:55 PM

I want to share my experiance , which give me a great laughing MASALA for many days, I was in NIGERIA, and want to hire one person to assist us in NIGERIA operation. We given one AD in newspaper. Neraly 70 persons are there, I put one CCTV at the waiting hall, I was surprised to see, most of the peoples are with atleast one book in their hand, Like " YOU CAN WIN", WHO EAT YOUR BREAD & BUTTER", HOW TO BECOME GOOD MANAGER, HOW to NEGOCIATE for your salary etc.

I was very surprised that everybody is answering the questions very tactfully & not giving any clearly idea about their expactation. So i decided one general question, What is your salary & perk expactation" and i was surprised that none of these 70 students given me the direct answer, they have 70 different tactical/political answer. So sometimes, I feel these motivational or PROFESSIONAL guru make every worker smart to negotiate only & the simple process, which can be finish in 5 minutes, now need 50 minutes to get out.

God bless Companies as well as general peoples from thes professional Guru/ Inspirational Guru. Even after discussing with 30 minutes, We can find, that how much & which management books he studied/influenced. God bless us
