You purchase good quality product today but this will wipe out the livelihoods of millions of people across the country. Tomorrow, we will have Reliance purchasing acres and acres of land in India, and will employ all the machines to run it, thereby spoiling the livelihood of the farmers as well as the small scale retailers.
The government ought to help the farmers come out with more quality products, introduce modern methods there. That will save the family cultivating the goods. But writing off everything to reliance will only emphasize the maxim "Rich gets richer, Poor gets poorer."
