RE:Superiority Complex, Anyone ?
by Rishi Poddar on Aug 22, 2007 10:19 PM

I couldn't agree more with you. I did an MBA in Japanese Management from US, did my internship in japan for 6 months and returned to India to work for my nation and its economy. Another fellow Indian student stayed back in Japan. A decade later, we both have our own companies but he is maybe 100 times richer, has more opportunities and less red tape and corruption to deal with. My time goes in paying bribes to govt. officials, teaching my workers and staff the very basic management and quality principals and dealing with all sorts of crises one after the other on a daily basis. Maybe this will ring a bell with small entrepreneurs who started from scratch in this country with no money, no powerful connections but only a good quality education and a steely determination to make the best quality product/offer the best services from my country to the rest of the world. I am an optimist and love my country and hope things will change for the better in the near future. Jai Hind.
