Some questions
by Anand Raghavan on Aug 09, 2007 05:32 PM

It looks fine to feel proud in having such a marvellous facility in India. But I have a question, when the business is Software, why is there a need to have so many grounds and courts for different sports(I can understand library/leadership institute but sports facility). If the intention is to give it to potential/budding sports people at a even a very reasonable and affordable cost for traning, thereby helping India to have top performers in sports, I can appreciate that. But if it is for the employees to recreate for a brief time during work (amateurs using for timepass and which the professionals long for but don't get thro' respective sports associations), does it need world-class sports facility at such a cost on a land given by the govt. at a subsidised rate for their core business. I doubt software professionals with thier kind of overseas client focussed work nature can take become sportsmen by taking time off their work intermittently.
This just came to my mind, no prejudices towards Infy.
