I dont want to write lengthy posts I will directly hit the point. This is a old Gujrathi fantassy of separating out Mumbai from Maharashtra. Take a dip in the investigation and every single suggestion has to have some Gujrathi connection. Moraji Bhai desai first "dreamt" of this fantassy but all know how sucessfull PM Morarjee Desai was to India. The Samyukta Maharashtra Andolan has 200 Marathis killed in police firing on streets of Mumbai by orchratrated by Morarje Desai which is never forgotten by any Marathi person.
Comming to the Separate Manager and Autonomy junk discussed I wish to get a feedback from the rest of Indians on the other cities too???
1> How would Tamilians feel if Chennai was to be separated out to be a separate autonomous state outside of Tamilnadu?
2> How would Bengalis feel if Kolkatta was to be separated out to be a separate autonomous state outside of West Bengal?
3> How would Kanadigas feel if Bangalore was to be separated out to be a separate autonomous state outside of Karnataka?
4> How would Telghus feel if Hyderabad was to be separated out to be a separate autonomous state outside of AP?
5> How would Gujrathis Themselves feel if Ahemdabad-GandhiNagar was to be separated out to be a separate autonomous state outside of Gujrath?
Hence its bad to have double standards for Maharashtra, Mumbai and Marathi people and different standards in other parts of India.
