Were you on cocaine when you wrote this post ? The child has grown and has become bigger and smarter than the father. Nehru was a visionary who created these institute precisely to ensure they become engines of India's growth. Indian polity has been only on a decline ever since I would rather trust a drug lord than the human trafickers who rule the country today. These guys have not created anything new ( except for Golden quadrilateral project which Vajpayee thought of ) - and have only been trying to milk what has been for what it is worth. Men of straw in the government cannot hold a candle to most people who run the Indian industry today - with efficiency and created millions of jobs. The top 5 IT companies themselves have created 3 lakh jobs and will create another lakh in one year or so. And this industry prospered because no one in the government knew how to control it ... and some good leaders in south India like Krshna and Naidu were proactive.
