IT revolution
by ram on Apr 23, 2007 10:36 PM

The IT revolution has made other professions seem like worthless.
Its just mind blowing- what these people did for the country. But I am terribly jealous since I am in the two letter golden letters- IT.

My only concern is the lack of job opportunities and educational facilities in other hardcore engineering fields. Punching in the IF and DO loops can bring in money.. but whats the point of there is No civil engineer to build roads and bridges, electrical engineer to build control panels for INfosys buildings,No chemical engineer to produce gasoline and power your Mercs. More importantly- lack of motivation for iinovative research and development. We are happy to just work with DO and IF loops..I do not see a single sign of R&D in this IT revolution.

This narrow sided progress is scary.
