I appreciate the hardwork and application of principles that have taken Eastern to where it is now. But inducting one's own son and augther is something I am not inclined about. Even though family business has done well in industries like Machine Tools, it remains to be seen how a young 25 year old starts barking out orders to a 55 year old experienced man. Thi9s is despite the fact that almost all Japanese machine tool companies are family owned and run.
Anyway I appreciate Mr Meeran's guts to run a factory in Kerala. For that, he should get some award.
