There is no wonder that Infy is not in the top 25. It was a best employer in the past, not so now. From being a employee oriented company it has become a profit oriented corporate company.
Following are some of the facts... 1) People say that Infy is performance oriented company, but this is only till you get in the company that it matters. Promotions and salaries are purely based on your number of years of experience rather than performance. Which Infy says that it is rewarding layalty. How hard you may work you get your promotion only after you server the company for the stipulated number of years. 2) People say that Infy's management follows ethics in work place, but there are only a few good men, the founders, who follow this. Rest are no different from the managers of other software companies. 3) People say that good facilities are provided by infy (ex: swimming pool, gym etc..), but these are paid services. This is seconded by another person in one of the replies in this forum.
