RE:Very Difficult to do
by Rahul R Zaveri on Apr 02, 2007 11:15 PM

U seem to be a sympathiser of the govt...maybe you're on the govt payroll. There's more to it than what meets the eye... For example, 80% of Maharashtra's revenues gets spent on salaries of state govt employees who hardly do any work. Maharashtra state is the highest employer of people most of whom do nothing but squat on files. The politicians and the entire govt machinery are totally corrupt... You can get details from upright govt officers like Mr Arun Bhatia who worked for underprivileged and deprived tribals and unearthed major scams during his tenure, but was declared unfit and mentally deranged by the politicians and the govt, and Mr G R Khainar who worked to uphold the law. Corrupt politicians and govt officers have sold all of the vast and open spaces reserved for schools, hospitals, gardens, etc. to builders and developers, not only in Mumbai but also in other parts of the state. They call themselves the leaders of the masses, garland statues of Shivaji and Mahatma Gandhi, but own huge farm houses and fleets of imported cars that cost anything from between 20 lakhs to a few crores. The only visible govt activity that's been going on right since independence is to LOOT THE PEOPLE, AND FILL THEIR OWN POCKETS AT ANY COST. No wonder the state is under a huge debt burden that has reached Rs. 1,40,000 crores. One can only hope for the country and for its blind people to wake up.
