Hey, U have a wrong notion that taxes generated by Mumbai are used for rest of Maharashtra. Most of Taxes paid by Mumbai goes to centr, only the smaller taxes such as Octroi goes to BMC. Maharashtra spends small amount for rest of Maharashtra compared to Mumbai. U must go to rural part of Maharashtra & see the condition of ppl. U can not imagine 14 hrs of load shedding living in Mumbai.
There is no reservation by Maharashtra govt on the basis of language. Shiv Sainik may be talking abt reservations for Marathis but its not the policy adopted by state govt. I also believe that migrant population is more responsible for development. But it must include Marathis if it has to occur in Maharashtra.
