I don't agree with you. You take map of india and place finger anywhere and buy land there you will get much higher returns then shares on a long term basis (10 years). We are in a country wheere a large population is staying in villages and migrating to cities this wil create a additional returns to people investing in cities. If you have small money then there is option of buying land in small cities. We had invested in five properties in last twenty years and each has given moren then 50% returns if taken on an average. Yaa I agree it creates lots of iquidity problem but you have to sacrifice that for higher returns.
