Mocro credit : An IITian idea??

In response to Tamla's questions, Mr Gupta said that the first 'micro credit' was from an IITian-led co, without naming the company - why? So, to put things straight, I'm asking, what is the name of the 'first' IITian-led micro-credit co?.
