Hi to all, For attracting big companies..their employees' willingness to work in that city also plays a major role.I have talked with one of the big IT compemployee..He said the employee outside of gujarat dont want to come in ahmedabad..he also explained some reason behind that, not good atmosphere(weather) to work like a pune(known as green city) , no other big companies presence so that they can see if other company's model work successfully, no permission for wine(which is very much needed for foreign deligates & many of employees which r frm out of gujarat)....etc.. But there r some good knews also,,In four or five big IT companies which are regularly visits gujarat's campuses for recruitment, have now large no. of gujaratis in that company.Take an example of Syntel(A US based company) they r havin atleast 100 gujaratis...& 70 more have been selected this year(which will be join company in next july)..likewise for infosys..a large no of gujaratis..70 are already there&110 alone selected frm Nirma campus this year(which will be join next year)..Almost all of these gujaratis want to come back home city..so,perhaps we can say that these giant companies have to come in GUJ,in2-3yr
