Gujerat, the next IT hub?
by labrea on Nov 12, 2006 12:05 AM

Only this "unbaised' rag sees nothing wrong in printing such biased articles - "because of liquor prohibition, night life is safe and people can freely roam about till midnight" - writers' own description of Gujerat. I take it that they are both teetotalers and are implying that people who drink are criminals who make the state 'unsafe'? And what happens after midnight - is one 'unfree' to roam about? As for being cosmoplitan, such medieval, chauvinistic clap-trap mught be enough to keep Guj a society of luddites. I guess Gujerat deserves the Modis of this world - they'd feel right at home.
