Re: Leadership @ Managment Schools
by Mahesh Varahan on Nov 07, 2006 04:52 PM

Hello Sir,

I would like to kindly highlight some facts, which prove that, Management Schools do, inculcate Leadership Skills.

TO start with, I am a Student of Welingkar Institute of Management Development, Mumbai, and I have really seen the various attempts by my college, to imbibe the spirit of Leadership, among its students. Infact, we have a subject, which treads on the aspect of LEadership through Literature and also, there is a special curriculam, which is dedicated to HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADERSHIP....

All these, try to identify the traits, which the students have, that can make them into better efficient leaders tomorrow.

The institute itself has demonstrated its Leadership skills by being a pioneer in many things, including the launch of many courses, which have been designed understanding the changing dynamics of the industry.

And the institute strongly believes that, Leadership can play a pivotal role in overall development of the Educational System.

Regards
Mahesh Varahan
