People skill
by Anshul Gupta on Nov 07, 2006 07:31 PM

Sir,
Forget B-schools...Can you tell me a place where people skill can be taught. If not then why blame B-schools. Infact B-schools do teach people skill formally and more importantly informally. Here are 500 souls on campus from across India and even outside India. Working with them for group projects and assignments, organising big events etc do teach a bit of people skill.
As far as execution is concerened, I do agree that the time crunch and excessive work load does not allow students to reach the level of execution. However, they make up for this drawback in their summer training and various live projects.
