B-schools don't teach leadership
by Sachin on Nov 07, 2006 09:26 PM

I feel this is true. I work with lot of B-school guys, they are selfish (there are exceptions), they are money-minded. I strongly believe that one cannot be Leader by attending a B-school. It requies lot of experience. Just learning the Management you cann't be leader. Leader must be visionary and without experience you cann't vision for future. Just reading and studying few book don't mean a leader.

Person must have following qualities

Partnership and voice
Vision and values
Knowledge and daring
Savvy and persistence
Personal qualities (passion, humor, and empathy strength of character, general maturity, patience, wisdom, common sense, trustworthiness, reliability, creativity, sensitivity)

Thanks for reading
