Mr. Narayana Murthy's Interview
by Chandrakant Wakankar on Jul 02, 2006 08:56 PM

A thought provoking, inspiring and challenging piece. Please continue to publish more such material. It should be considered by political and industrial leaders of both India and USA, and indeed, other democratic countries as well, It would, of course need further refining and more addition from other thinkers and practitioners. If implemented with similar vision, it should decrease the disparities, create greater opportunities all around and reduce tensions within and between communities and nations. For Indian politicians, it should particularly tell how they should decrease the disparities by raising the educational standards, especially at the primary and secondary levels, and concentrating on the improvements in the sectors such as infrastructure, rather than by adopting ideological postures or seeking short-term, self-serving solutions such as caste based reservations.
