Mr.Murthy, Could you please tell me why do we have something called as BENCH PERIOD in most of the IT companies these days???? I know IT companies get projects on the basis of manpower, but isn't it unfair to make someone sit on bench for few days (may be months in some cases) thereby spoiling and individual's career??? I know lots of things could be done during Bench Period, but it looks good only on paper not practically. An IT Professional's confidence is boosted only if he works on LIVE Projects.
