Its really good to see such a wonderful article being published in rediff. As it is said "The more you give, the more you get". I would encourage all of them to give a small portion of their salary towards charity. This is a way to give back to the society.
One urdu poet had said "Mandir-Masjid ko insanon ne banaye, par Insanon ko khuda ne banaya". Which means that "Temple-Mosque has been built by human beings, but human beings were created by the god himself". So I would urge all the reader to donate something for the well being of human beings. Donate directly to organisations directly servicing the mankind.
If that is not possible, try and even buy a scale or a pencil box to a poor child going to school, even that would be a good gesture. No need to spend in 100s or 1000s.
