There is always a cry whenever the Pay commission is constituted for Central Government Employees. Are they not humans like other working class employees or politicians who get their salaries and perks hiked even without any information to the media. The beneficiaries are going to be not only central government employees and also Pensioners or their widows who get family pension. Why increase? Are not the prices increasing? Whether it is textiles, rental or food articles which are essential for a good living at the retired life. Where will a pensioner go, when even the interest rates are kept to keep the inflation low.Alas, inflation increases as Government spends for development activities to compete with developed nations. Think a while. When you want to be a developed nation, you require development of Infrastructure, factories, new companies coming in through Foreign direct Investment etc. Who is paying for these things? Even a central Government servant, pensioner or a widow has to shell down for the development of the Nation.
