Should airports be privatised?
by Deepak Masta on Jan 31, 2006 05:55 PM

Yes, Airports should be privatised. History has proved that Only after privatisation things have improved. Be it in any sector, you must have seen people transformed and started working after privatisation and hence competetion. You need not go anywhere to see this change. Look at your nearest neighbour who used to work (rather not work) for Govt co. for so many years and suddenly gets double salary and slogs day and night now.
Why is AAI suddenly waking up saying we can do. why dis they not do. I felt like crying when one of my foreign buyers was laughing at the Chennai and Mumbai International Airports leaking during rainy days. I felt like somebody was laughing at my family. What were these striking AAI staff doing when there were leaking roofs. why didnt they strike then.
The whole point is that if you need IMPROVEMENT you have to CHANGE.
