By all means! a resounding YES!!!!

ask 10 people at an airport if they'd like the service to be better - nine would definetely vote/ask for a better service. Airports evoke a range of negative emotions: fear of the unscrouplous authorities, highandedness, unfriendly, unprofessional behaviour by most of the staff. There's no guarantee, that the privatisation will help eradicate all of the issues. but it will sure improve a lot for sure. the private organisations might hire the very same persons who run the airport currently, but under a professional management, they will be under pressure for performance. and better still - a private party can be removed for a better running - if there are too many complaints. if its the government - the governmnt themselves wouldnt listen! but it should not be without regulation. for eg. The delhi power scene is worse off than before! monopolies like reliance can upset the whole scene. i think that the regulators play an important role everywhere. privatise, with caution, let the opportunity spread to all levels of the society - fair and equal employment for all.
