Well this is something we have to toally agree that the current allowances are far behind the required amount.
I am in the Army. A work force of over a million. Where the outfit allowance is only Rs 200 a month that makes it Rs 2400 an year. If I go out to the market I purchase a pair of uniform for Rs 1200. That makes it 2 pairs of uniform a month which includes only my cloth and stitching. What about Shoes?
Talking on allowances and grants the army provides daily ration to famalies who are not enrolled for eating in mess. The quality of ration provided is so poor that most of it is either thrown away or given to beggers. Why cant money be given in lieu of that?
All grants according to me should be compensated by monetory equals which shall definitely provide freedom of purchase to a person on requirement and quality requirement basis.
