Any consumer product found to be substandard should be banned/penalised and amends must be made by the firm. Also the so called brand ambassadors who continue support to such products must think in favour of a more greater cause rather than their income. The problem also is that not all products are bought under the scanner, but we can atleast make a beginning. And there is scope also to monitor the price as to how a Rs 1/- product can be sold for Rs 10/- ? And how much of it goes out into the coffers --- this is pure exploitation.
