coke & pepsi should not be banned
by nirmal on Aug 14, 2006 08:00 PM

Dear readers,
Pepsi and coke are much more safer than the water available in slums for consumption which people are drinking. Several reports have been that sewage contents are more in drinking water supplied to innocent people living in remote villages and slums which they are consumming daily, whereas no human lives on colas. My advise to anystate government which plans to ban colas should first ensure safe drinking water with zero percent sewage and pesticide.
vegetables and fruits available in markets also contain pesticide. Pesticides are not mixed intentionally but they are present in ground water used in making colas. There is no study that death was reported due to colas, whereas daily several deaths are due to smoking and alcohol. why goverment doesnt consider banning these? bcos they make more revenues out of cigarettes and alcohol. Banning colas is to extract money from these MNC. also i advise sunita narain to conduct similar tests to drinking water consumed in slums and rural areas.
