You MUST be on COKE/PEPSI Payroll
by Suresh on Aug 14, 2006 08:34 PM

What a hilarious article. Not just because you are biased, but also coz you LIE. You say that "Incidentally, the chief minister of Kerala had earlier led an agitation against the Coke and Pepsi factories claiming that their use of water was lowering the water tables in the region leading to shortages, a claim thrown out by courts and denied even by the local panchayats". Have you ever ready anything about what happened there?? Do you know that its the Panchayat that is leading the fight of locals against a multi-national giant for drinking water? This is all about business ethics and the cola company sadly lacks it completely. Palakkad is a heavily draught hit area and they drain the underground water in huge quantities while the common man of the area suffer. Only a company with absolute lack of humanity can do such an act of fighting a war with local who want only drinking water. Its terrible. They wouldnt dare to do such a thing in the US. A company with ethics will never do it anywhere. I work for an MNC, sir! I know what a company with ethics mean. You seem to be pained by the ban on colas. And not by the fact that they are proven to have some harmful contents!!!
