Kerala Govt. ban on selling soft drinks
by V.Srinivasa Rao on Aug 15, 2006 03:54 PM

I feel the Govt. of india should immediately intervene and get the ban lifted. They should also set some stringent standards for all beverage manufacturers both local and mnc's and also take all steps to improve the quality of drinking water which is the source for these plants. The govt should encourage usage of organic fertilizers by farmers in the fields and not the chemicals that are in use now.
This will go a long way in removing the pesticide residues in most of the food stuffs that we indians are taking now.
