Coke & Pepsi together hold the biggest marketshare in soft-drinks. They have all the means economic & technological, to purify the water & then use it.
It is their criminal neglect that the pesticide levels are high.
In terms of health impact, they should have been fined on a per-litre-sold basis. But they will just get away (for a 2nd time) to repeat the same error again.
Do you expect SriLanksn Govt to ignore if Appollo hosp were to KILL a patient by negligence? Why dont you go ahead & justify the approaches Union Carbide took to run-away from its responsibility in Bhopal gas problem?
