The only thing expected from I.I.Tians is more strain on the Indian tax-payers money to serve outside interests and the only benificaries are I.I.T's . Gov should concentrate on improving other engg (govt and private) colleges somewhat like the U.S model where the top 100 colleges meet the basic requirements of infrastructure, staff, and most important constructive research. They could use a common exam on the grounds of J.E.E to see to it that quality of students does not suffer.
