we're the under priveleged ones now
by under priveleged \''FC\''! on May 01, 2006 01:45 PM

almost 60 years after independence.. and we still have quota's for the backward classes?! what exactly gives them the right for this? these so called backward classes are financially and socially much better off than the others nowadays. because of our great leaders who give quota without thinking about the rest of the population. 33% for women.. 50% for backward classes.. 5% odd for the minorities. where does this leave us? when everyone goes on tomtoming about equality then why not make them work as hard as us for securing seats? a guy with 90percentile in CAT gets all six IIM calls just because he's a BC. and an open category student even after securing 96perc is no where. whats his fault??
