Mr. Ramanan, You spoke my mind. That was a wonderful article. Yeah, frustration mounts on people who slog themseleves to see themselves somewhere in life. And behold the reservation gets them thinking, well things could have been better if I was a backward class lifer.Yeah, what has reservation done to our country 1) Quota for Engineering, medical colleges at almost whopping 50% 2) They come and they exist during the first semester 3) They fail to cope up and drop out during the second 4) That medical seat goes to someone who could pay lakhs of rupees to get a degree, which ofcourse gets reimbursed in dowry. Who cares.Someone should. We should. It is time, country puts behind reservations and move up towards economic growth and development and positions given purely on merits. Its time all of us wake up.
