Very good analysis. One glaring omission... the high ethical standards of Dr Kurien (and the early leadership) have been missed out. If it were not for this sense of ethics (his life wasthreatened in the start-up), Amul would have become another CIDCO (or Enron!) with a cesspool of corrupt 'leaders'. India doesn't lack brains or resources, we lack commitment to truth & fairplay!!!
