Rightly Said about Status of Airport in India
by Agam on Oct 19, 2005 07:38 PM

I totally agree with writer.AIRPORTS in India. They plan for revenue coming from tourism, world power etc.Why don't Indian goverment look at shobby state of Airports in India.Which puts the first impression.Come to Delhi international airport.Long queue for customs there you feel lucky if you are lucky to be relative of some VIP as there will be no waiting for u.Then immigration counter itself gives you a idea what u going to face further now at airport.Try to go bathroom.U have to give money that too in dollars.Forget about bathroom conditions. No one is there to help you out.You don't even know where to go and whom to ask for help.
Union what they are doing to get rid of all these problem. If you ask people like me ,they must be having same problem.
Prafful Patel is right it is more like another bulding made by PWD that it.
Till time people like Prakash Karanth,Sitaram Yethurcy are there in Indian poltics forget about India getting into Developed Country.Sorry Mr President your dream doesn't look realistic till communist are there.
Small town airports are much more better in US then our Delhi and Mumbai International Airport
