I respect Mr. Divecha's thoughts, research and decisions. But it all comes across as from a person, who has left the country a long while ago, when it was on the verge of a paradigm shift and hence cannot gauge the shift sitting from America. I do not doubt that his research or decision is anything wrong, but then a company has to have "hands on" knowledge about the sectors and the country as a whole to gauge the investment decision. Another aspect to his decision could be the risk of being branded parochial by his colleagues about investing in a home country.
