Bravo Atlast....

innovations in this area should have happened when cell phones were introduced in mumbai in sept 94

its the most basic one can get by attempting to increase the memory and/or reduce the size in scientific terms for any personal gadget

this is a happening thing in japan etc..with 'micro electronics ' a term in vogue the world over.
just imagine the huge computers we had till recently which i remember in TIFR and used to occupy huge halls etc today we have PCs even hand held PDAs, laptops,...

nothing like having a huge capacity for - the phonebook, SMS storage, photos, music etc... its a dream come true for people like me who dont like expensive phones and have a need only for such memory which can be taken with you even if changing handsets
hope it doesn't come with an expensive pricetag
certainly count me in - the hardware and software will complement each other even if they have to compete for sales.

remember all hell was let loose and the GSM operators felt as if a cat was let loose in their pigeon's pen, on the launch of reliance phones.
just imagine then we used to pay rs. 16.80 per min even for incoming calls.
hope the end winner is the consumer. AMEN
