Thanks for the update...but the article doesnt mention the procedure for getting this smart card? I have following queries realted with the same subject-
1) Will it be the regional passport offices who will issue smart card..?
2)Will it be neccessary to change smart card if NRIs are changing jobs/countries very frequently let say in six month or in an year time..(for ex in case of small term job contracts) since the smart card will contain the visa and info about the employer..
3)Will it be possible to update the smard cards in indian embassies abroad?
