A lot being said about the atrocities by the Police, I would like to provide the missed perspective of the event.I repeat there is no condoning what the police has done. what is democracy? Is it the right to torch vehicles , hit the isolated policemen, pelt stones at them? Come on rediff! you can be a bit more impartial. I am almost sure the persons who were suspended were the same who initiaited the agitation. Atleast have the decency to check their records. I suspect some of them will be future George Fernandeses(coming to factory only to initiate strikes).
The leaders from the communist party somehow feels that it is their duty to condone with the atrocities committed by the striking people. When will a party have the courage to admit and correct their mistakes. Dont hope India to "shine" until then.
