Business School can't Teach common sense
by RAVINDRA M JOSHI on Feb 09, 2005 12:51 PM

Reference article of Mr.Salil Kapoor,Head-Marketing,LG, I wish to appreciate views given by him, which assumes greater importance since he is in such a high & responsible position in a global leader.
I have also been in the field of sales & marketing for over two decades, with stints at some of the big names in corporate sector in a diverse product segments,i.e,VIDEOCON,LG at Muscat with OTE Group,Biggest Garment Export House-Gokaldas Export etc.
I have always experienced the same values as expressed by the author, that ground reality is known only when one is in touch with customer at micro-level,in different conditions, involving interaction at absolutely one to one level.
Regards.
