Will BPO face staffing crisis?
by Hitesh Chadha on Dec 23, 2005 02:12 PM

continued..
I waited for abt 2 months and I was still ding the same work their was no VALUE ADDITION. This was the case when I was the top performer on the floor. Then 1 day I decided to leave and resigned. When I was going my manager said that he can create more people like me. I just gave him a piece of my mind and came back home. Then I decided to join another BPO company. There also the same story. I started performing right from the word GO. Received certificates of appreciation there also. But sadly my job profile remained the same. I resigned from there also. I took a break and prepared for the management entrance tests.
At this point of time I am feeling quite relaxed and I waiting for some good calls to come. I am very confident of converting them also. I would agree with the author of the above article that in few years we will have lots of people with no added skills. There will be a theart of thier job being taken over by some other cheap labour providing country. I would suggest the young people today to think abt long term gains. Plan ur career. Do not get lured by the money in BPO. Go for ur post graduation. Education is must.

Cheers
Hitesh
