I should say the liberalization process started off with PV Narsimha Rao as PM. He should be credited with the process. And it accelerated with his disciple AB Vajpayee's forward looking team that built self-esteem in Indians both in India and outside. So instead of giving political colors, it is better to say that both the PMs have done exceptional job. Manmohan Singh should also be credited for the success of the reforms but unfortunately for him, Indian communits are proving to be a irritation all the way.
Contrary to what the author alluded, We have not seen any objections from RSS for reforms. If at all there is an objection, it is on recklessly opening our strategic units like defence to foreign investment. No citizen in their right-mind would agree for such proposals.
