The people of orissa are not backwards but simple. Their accent are different because these people are satisfied with what they have and they dont want more unless it is difficult to maintain with what thwy have. They are normally vegetarian having Lord of universe(Lord Jagannath)with them all the ways.In orissa swain is not a Community but a surname & you Cann't decide the class basing a surname. By the way what is the meaning of "sh", mind it Me is an oriya.
