This article is lifted from some US site. In India, even in so called love marriages when both parents agree, wedding details are always decided by both set of parents with bride and groom hardly have anything to say. This happened in my case. Both my parents and in laws decided all aspects of wedding including expenses. I was never allowed to say anything except I had chosen my spouse on my own. Neither did I nor my spouse spend anything at our wedding. Even in case of siblings,cousins etc many are MBA with fat salaries, whether love or arranged marriage, parents decided wedding details and paid for it. This article is sheer non-sense
