you are so cluelss. Jaichand hit the nail right in the head. When will we Indians leave this attitude of being better spiritually than the world when indeed we have one of the most stratafied, corrupt, uneducated and poor society. I mean visible doesn't need evidence. can't you see that our complacent attitude has cost us so much when in reality we could have been lot better had we risen to the challenge instead of being complacent and inactive.
Talking about depression, the definition of depression itself is different in both the countries. A small psychological problem which we Indians wouldn't even notice could be counted as depression. And it is far better to recognize the problem and fix it than not recognizing it and pretending that there is no problem. In the long term, the earlier approach far outperforms the other one.
Smell the coffee. It is good to be satisfied but bad to be ignorant and oblivious to the better things in life and world.
