This is another classic example of not recording your work. I cannot fathom, if one doesn't have data in hand, how does one submit his/her annual report?? One shud at least spend several days in accumulating data(if one has not done so during the whole of the year), collate it and transfer it in the shortest possible format to the higher-up(s). The managers do not have time to go thru lengthy reports. The good worker's achievements thereby gets overlooked.
